Multi-Factor Authentication
Login for all users can be fully secured using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) via an Authenticator app or using a code sent to the user by SMS. Administrators can quickly and easily implement MFA through the M365/O365 administrator service.
Mercury also features server-to-server security via a tenant's Azure Active Directory that identifies the Mercury app registration as a security principle that can be granted roles and permissions with their subscription.
Security Roles
Mercury uses Microsoft Dynamics' Security Roles that define how users can access different records or parts of the system. To control access to data and resources, you (system admin) can create or modify security roles, and users can have multiple security roles to provide the best fit for their specific needs. Users are granted the privileges that are available in each role that’s assigned to them. This can be done at the team or individual user level.
